Ahilyanagar, Friday, 25 July 2025 : The local crime branch (LCB), which is considered important for criminal investigation, has changed a significant change on Thursday. Kiran Kumar Kabadi, who was transferred from Chalisgaon, took over as the LCB inspector. Earlier, the post was in the hands of Dinesh Aher. The change was made on the change late on Wednesday night, and District Superintendent of Police Somnath Ghargay approved it.

The duration of the LCB inspector is two years, which was completed on April 7. Meanwhile, after the transfer of Rakesh Ola on May 7, Somnath Ghargay took over as the District Superintendent of Police and the discussion of the appointment of a new LCB inspector started faster.

The wait for the decision is over

For the past few weeks, the names of several senior officers have been discussed for the post of LCB inspector. Kiran Kumar Kabadi along with Pratap Darade and Anand Kokare were also considered. However, the decision was finally taken in the name of Kabadi. The influx of internal churches was constant at the administration level for this transfer.

Effective performance in solving Aher’s crime

During Dinesh Aher’s tenure, the LCB resolved very complex and serious crimes. They raided the three massacre along with their squad and gazed the accused. A number of incidents, including Baldwa double murder, Bhagavare’s crime, murder at Jhapwadi and Chichondi Patil, a double massacre in Shirdi, were successfully investigated. Under his leadership, there was a strong action against crime.

Although the LCB performance was appreciated, the branch was found around the dispute. MP Dr. Nilesh Lanka protested directly in front of the superintendent’s office against the LCB’s workforce. Also, the branch was alleged to have boiled Rs 1.5 crore from the director of the Gromor Company. Four employees, including a sub -inspector, have been suspended in this connection.
