Ahilyanagar, Friday, 25 July 2025 :Â The case in the reference to the recruitment of the renowned Shanashwar Devasthan Trust- has now received an official inquiry. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had given a clear order of the inquiry after taking information in this regard in the Legislative Assembly. Against this backdrop, a hearing will be held on Friday (July 7) at the Charity Commissioner’s Office in Mumbai.
Order for hearing to the trustees
Immediately after the inquiry order, the Charity Department of Mumbai called the trustees of the Shaneshwar Devasthan for hearing. Initially, on July 7, the date was given to submit the statement. However, the Adv. Sameer Jadhav had demanded a certified fame of the relevant documents. The demand was approved for eight days and the last date was fixed on July 7.

Delay of documents and obstacles in the process
According to information received from the trustees, even by July 7, certified fans were not lying in their hands. In such a situation, it will be very difficult to study and present the right saying and present the entire information in just one day. Therefore, today’s hearing is likely to be postponed.
Ahilyanagar also demanded an inquiry
Meanwhile, some social workers have submitted another application based on complaints related to the recruitment process of the Shaneshwar Devasthan at the Charity Commissioner’s Office in Ahilyanagar. Therefore, the Ahilyanagar office has also issued a notice to the respective trustees. In this case, the trustees will also be advocated through legal representatives.
Following the Chief Minister’s inquiry order, a clearly changed atmosphere is felt in the temple area. In the past, some trustees who have been active daily have become rare in the office, while employees are only limited to their table. Therefore, new questions about transparency and discipline in the work of the trust are being raised.
